Dear Friends, 친애하는 동역자들께
The River of Life School 생명의강 학교
God is at work--as is the Enemy! Please keep the River of Life School in your prayers. We have one definite teacher and two that are strong possibilities. We also, finally, have access to the Hasami Village School where we plan to open next March. We have moved all the school furniture that was given to us last year into the school but have not yet set up the class rooms. The building is in very good shape with a new roof put on by the Department of Education before turning the school over to us.
하나님이 일하고 계십니다. 물론 원수도 일하고 있습니다. 생명의강 학교를 위해서 계속해서 기도해주시기 바랍니다. 선생님 한 분은 확정됐고, 두 분은 높은 가능성을 가지고 고려중이십니다. 내년 3월 개교를 앞두고 하사미 분교 사용권을 확실히 얻게 되었습니다. 작년에 학교를 위해 받은 모든 가구 및 기구들을 하사미 분교로 옮겼습니다. 아직 교실에 정돈하려면 시간이 좀 더 필요합니다. 또 학교 사용권을 넘겨주기 전에 교육부에서 지붕을 멋지게 수리해 주었습니다.
We do have work to do getting a small apartment there ready for use as an office and possible room for a male teacher. We also need to create a kitchen, which we plan to do using a small container so that we can take it with us when we move to new quarters at the Three Seas. We have use of this small village school for three years. At that time, we wil l have to vacate the premises so that the village can use it for other purposes. We expect to outgrow these temporary facilities by then anyway. So... we have three years to build three buildings at the Three Seas. Please remember to pray for that. We have a big fund-raising project on our hands. We are excited!
교무실로 사용하기 위한 작은 건물과 남자 교사를 위한 숙소를 손보는 일이 아직 남아있습니다. 그리고 작은 컨테이너를 이용해서 주방을 만들어야 합니다. 나중에 삼수령으로 학교를 이전하면 이 컨테이너는 가져갈 수 있습니다. 분교는 3년간만 사용할 수 있습니다. 3년후에는 마을에서 다른 용도로 사용하게 됩니다. 그때까지는 이 모든 상황에서 벗어나길 기대합니다. 그래서 삼수령에 세 동의 건물을 지어야 합니다. 계속 기도해 주십시오. 기금을 마련을 위한 프로젝트를 계속 해야합니다.
On the other hand, we have felt like the Enemy has been taking shots at us. We were denied permission to build three small temporary houses at the Three Seas Ranch that we need for teachers and others who want to come work with us. We are busy looking into as many other possibilities as we can, including renting other housing near the school. Do pray.
반면에 원수가 계속해서 우리를 공격하고 있다는 느낌이 듭니다. 삼수령목장에 교사와 일꾼을 위해 짓기로 한 세 동의 건물에 대한 건축허가권을 얻지 못했습니다. 학교 옆에 숙소를 대여하는 등 다른 가능성들을 두고 알아보고 있습니다. 기도해 주십시오.
